My disease is very active ( really been trying to see someone since March)I know itās not his fault .
He has decided to up my methotrexate and hopefully start Sulfascazine and Etanercept injections if tests ok. š¤š»feel like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders . So happy Iāve been listened too my photo diary helped.
Bloody hell its hot š„µtoday real struggle walking around hospital today. Walked miles from car park to X-ray , blood test back to Rheumy department to car why isnāt everything under one roof ? They donāt make it easy for us.š¬
That sounds like a result to me. So lovely to be heard and taken seriously, your homework has really paid off. I hope this cocktail is the answer for you
I saw my consultant beginning of March. Just on sulphasalazine & had steroid injection initially but once that wore off have been in a lot of pain. Had three more injections that havenāt helped at all. Think I need something else to take as well. Seeing him again tomorrow just need some relief.
Pretty desperate when we look forward to going to hospital.
Well, I,ve been taken off Sulphasalazine. Obviously not working. Started on Methotrexate, had xrays on chest, hands & feet . Had another steroid injection and feel great at the minute as this one seems to be working + another one in a month. Pure relief & long may it last.
All the best to you.
Must feel good I cant wait for mine Sept 10th cant come soon enough x
My hospital is the same with rheumatology split over two different buildings at the opposite side of the hospital and some specialist services, hand physio, in a different hospital altogether.
