Rheumy appointment

Well folks was at my appointment yesterday with specialist nurse and am changing over from Amgevita to Tocilizumab and weekly injections instead off fortnightly ones , staying on mtx 20mgs but my consultants trying to keep me on injections instead off the infusions as I travel a couple off hours for my appointments so that’s something, hopefully this one works fingers crossed , it won’t be for about another month by the time the health at home get the prescription and the nurse comes but something to look forward too, ahh what at interesting life we lead

It took 4 months for tocilizumab to work for me but when it did - wow what a difference. Good luck

Hopefully it works for me too,I was on Benepali which worked for about 8 months then stopped working. Then went into Humira but was switched over onto Amgevita due to 💰 but never worked so hopefully this does the trick xxx

Tocilizumab was my 5th biologic. The others either had no effect or worked for a short time and then stopped working
