Fatigue and sweating

Thanks for all your replies to my previous post. I am concerned that I may have to come off mtx soon as my consultant thinks it may help me to try something else as I am suffering terribly with fatigue and sweating (day and night). Has anyone else been through this?

I was when on tablet mtx but not with injections.

People vary such a lot with methotrexate. It didn't suit me at all but other people live (almost) normal lives on it.

Please don’t worry about changing to another Dmard...there are plenty for you to try & your Rheumatologist will be monitoring your progress before he decides which to prescribe next.

Personally I had 7 good years on Mtx....but you don’t want to know my experiences on many other Dmards.

I know it seems a never ending merry go round of failing drugs, but there is one that will help you.....sadly trial & error is the only way to find “your” drug.

Since starting all these RA drugs & especially prednisone I sweat like a pig! Get out of the shower, sweat. Sit working at my desk, sweat. Drive my car, sweat!

It is so gross!

I have been wearing my hair up everyday due to none stop sweating!

Why bother to curl my hair for work when 2 minutes later it will be flat!

RA is a terrible disease!
