I am a newbi, cannot say that very often at 92 can I ,, had a small stroke couple of years ago, just affected my voice a little .

Have had very painful arthritis I hip, spine and knees for many years.

Have got a Tens ma hine, and have been taking strong painkillers every three hours,,, three days ago, I had to go out with my daughter, I thought I would not use the tens, pain not too bad.

Later that day realised had not taken tablets next morning I still was not in pain,,,, AND not had pain since,,

Now I have been taking painkillrs about every four hours, still no pain,, WHY, I don't understand it. Love it, but would like to know what happened, and will it come back.?

I am really scared when I get out of bed, is it still pain free, so far so good, amazing.

Welcome Bethi. I don’t understand it either but I hope it continues for you. Make the most of being pain free😊

Oh Bethi, that’s great news. It’s so nice to hear that someone has, for whatever reason, improved. My Mum is 92 as well but has Alzheimer’s. She has scoliosis & her spine is like a snake but she never seems to feel any pain. If anything hurts she will take 1 paracetamol & complains at that! I hope you continue to be pain free. Nic xx 🙂

Fantastic! May it stay that way, such a blessing for you. None of us relishes growing older with pain. Bad enough without!

Stay well!
