I've been practicing yoga for many years and I still do a little bit at home when I feel like it. I couldn't cope with a class these days though, I've moved to a new area and the classes around here are far too 'trendy' for me! I've found (as with a lot of things) that I've lost my mojo with it. I'm not too bad physically compared to many people on this forum but fatigue gets the better of me, sadly I can't be bothered 😒

I hear you! Although I did once come across an online course in Chair Yoga which had a certain appeal...though in the end I didn't pursue it for lack of motivation.

I have started chair yoga at our local leisure centre, it's a half hour lesson and thoroughly enjoy it. I am in a good deal of nerve pain from severe spinal stenosis and it helps, also helps with my breathing and relaxation. Some of us go for a coffee after, very enjoyable. X

That's really good! I have just found a weekly group at the local pool which is water exercise specifically for conditions such as RA, so I'm thinking to give it a try, just need to psych myself up for it 🙄

They also offer this at our leisure centre, some of the friends I have made there go and keep asking me to. I might when the weather warms, it's the changing after puts me off. They also have a hoist to get you in if needed. X

Well, I contacted them and they are full ☹️ I'm on the waiting list now. Think it should be good as it's run by physio's and osteopath's and is only £5 a session, ah well just have to wait.

Oh dear, now you have made your mind up to go, have to say sounds really brilliant. The one at ours is, Aqua Mobility and its turn up and pay. Just looked up the pricing, concessions pay £2 but have to be centre members. Normal price £4. I did go many years ago and really enjoyed it, so good for our joints. Hope you don't have to wait too long. X
