I don’t have the same meds as you but if you can move the area you inject in will encourage the lumps not to come and after the injection, I have Diabetes and have 5 injections daily and it helps to know a little bit
I inject in my thighs alternate each week , dont think i could coupe with 5 a day its bad enough 1 a week, thank you 😊
I put mine into my tummy, I also use my thighs but some days if I’m walking it can cause a lot of pain. I hope all is well with you, and there’s lots of lovely people on here will point you in the right direction. Xx
Site reaction is common for biologic injections. My dr said it’s nothing to worry about as long as it doesn’t get worse instead of better. Do not rub or scratch as that will make it worse. Put some hydrocortisone cream on it if you need to.
It can be a problem. Have you tried changing the site where you inject, tum or thigh, that can sometimes helps. Otherwise you could ask your GP if he'll prescribe a steroid cream. Or you could try an antihistamine cream such as Anthisan if you have it in, as it's over the counter you could buy it,if not. It is sold for insect bites & stings but it is an antihistamine with local anaesthetic, it can help I've found.
Thank you for your help everyone, ive been in contact with my rhumertoid clinic, they said its 1 of the side affects antihistamine cream is the way forward going to try my tummy on the next injection fingers crossed 🙄
