Can't believe it I work 12 hour shifts at a care home and the other night had to go in a hour early for a meeting I then did my shift and in the morning it was snowing so I I had to get taxi back on calling taxi at 7am in morning I got told no taxis till 9.30 am so in all i did a 15.5 hour shift and I'm still catching up on my sleep knackered and the word guys so night all neeeeeddddd sleeeep 😴😴😴😴😴😴

Sad to say but there are loads of uncare homes are allowed to do exactly as they want, and there was a story about the Holiday rights or Annual leave without pay, the pore excuse of the present government is allowing these companies to do what they want and that’s ok for them. We mean nothing.
I hope you have had some quality sleep. Caring hard workers like you will always be undervalued. Not by me though. You are a star.

Yes my wife works in a care home as well and she used to be on the caring side she now does the domestic side laundry and cleaning and always has great rapore with the residents and loves her job xx
