I may have overdone it today....

Today is my husband's first day back on the day shift after 10 years on a 12 hour overnight shift, and I have been really looking forward to being able to clean my house during the daylight hours when I feel best. Today I completely cleaned one bathroom, did three loads of laundry, swept, vacuumed and steam mopped the house + cleaned the growdy window in my room. I still need to thr trash cans and make dinner and do the dishes......here's hoping I can move tomorrow so that I can clean the big bathroom!

Wow! You list of achievements in one day sent me reeling! I do hope you can move today!

Well, it's tomorrow and I hope you are moving and pacing yourself today! I assume your husband's day shift wasn't just for one day, so what's the hurry? On the other hand if your body allows you to do what you did, then Hip Hip Hurraayy. All the very best.

Thanks for replying! He's back on days permanently. ..I just usually had to do all the cleaning stuff between 8-10 pm so not as much as I would like got done. Today, since I am very stiff , I'll just fold clothes, sweep later and make dinner. My dog makes daily sweeping/vacuuming a necessity!

Blimey! That's a flipping long list of chores completed! You must have been like a whirlwind! Yes, a gentle day today would be good. Cuddle the dog, have a cup of something cheering, read a book perhaps. Hugs

Thanks Jan! I've worked on my project for our "blue room" and folded/put away clothes today. When I make dinner tonight, I'm going to stick the main ingredient for dinner for tomorrow and Sunday in the crockpot so that will make both tomorrow and Sunday easier! Tomorrow my Beastie is coming to see me!!

You put me to shame, DanI. I've been so idle. I hope you have a truly lovely time with your Bestie tomorrow. Oh, by the way I love collecting words so please may I use "growdy"?

Hi Jan! Of course, you can use growdy! My Beastie is my 3 year old grand daughter. ..her other nickname is Miss Ferocious! She loves alligators, T-Rex and zombies. All of which she would take on while wearing the frilliest, girly girly princess we could find for her!

There are days when I can't do anything so when I feel good, I take advantage of it to get ahead on the housework if possible!

Hugs!

Dani
