I use to as supposed to be better if you have allergies, its quite creamy in texture. It has an unusual taste. I liked it but my daughter didn’t.

I too am on plant based - loving the Rude Health brand of Tiger Nut milk 😋

Yes, and goats butter and cheese. Delicious. I'm on plant milk now though...Not quite as delicious!

I find it to have a strong flavour, not one I liked. But other people like it.

Didn't like it. Only coconut milk for me.

Yes it does. I dont have it on a daily basis or even weekly but I have ut when im nausious and it helps settle me. My main milk is cows fully skimmed and over Christmas its been semi as we had visitors. My oh says its like white water 🙂.

See you were awake in the night. Hope you managed some sleep. I was but not for long. X

I like, filtered, semi skimmed cows milk, it keeps well due to the filtering process and has a pleasant taste.

I understand. Lovely to see friends. I have very bad reflux every time I lay back or nod off. Had a late tea about 8pm , just a snack but it obviously has upset me. Only nodded off for few mins. Hay ho. Hope your asleep now.

With all of the doors open and the noise from the sea I am now tired but it is a shame to shut out nature.

Off for a shower and to take my daughter for a drive, or should I say follow her on her quad bike. My body is going to regret this.

.Years ago people used to sit children on their laps when driving. I know it is dangerous and stupid but it was such fun.

I can't tolerate cows milk anymore so tried goats milk. It had an unusual taste, kind of like a goat but at the same time I enjoyed it although I only had the odd glass as a treat. Unfortunately it is quite fatty and triggered my gallbladder which I have a problem with. I live goats or sheep's cheese but am careful to have in moderation.

I generally use soya milk now. I tried almond milk but it sent me to sleep for hours!

Really? I wish it did me! I need a mallet!

I tried it for a while. Didn't suit me. Being off all milk products seemes to be a must for me:(

Hey Veronica, replying via this post as the question you asked Re Goat Milk Yoghurt no longer appears on yesterday's thread. very odd.

I purchased the cultures from Amazon and read the reviews of others and adapted to my own take.

Sterilise everything you use.

1 - heat half a litre of goats milk to 82 degrees

2 -then cool to 42 degrees

3 - stir in cultures. I used 1 packet but now think 2 may have been better to thicken.

4 - added to my yoghurt glasses which are then stored in a huge thermos type box/basket for 12 hours.

You can also add into a Thermos I have read.

It came out nice - more of a pourable yoghurt not thick.

Refrigerate.

Hold back some of this culture if you plan on making your next batch.

Goats milk contains A2 beta casein. Some here may have a reaction to A1 beta casein. You can also get A2 cows milk
