My Christmas Feast I May regret 😬

Hope everyone a lovely day, with less pain too.

As I taper down on Predinosine, it would be fair to say I am feeling a tadge anxious. It really has helped me function and for that I am grateful.

However, yesterday's family feast meant I ate things I probably should have avoided, yikes 🀭 :

❗️Bailey's ice cream profitoroles, apple crumble, cream, cheese, stuffing balls, custard, bread 🍞..... And the list goes on. ❗️

It all tasted so good, pray I don't pay the price later! πŸ™

Has anyone else gone off kilter food wise?

Enjoy your day all πŸŽ„off to the shops....

It has held it off somewhat - but never 100%. This is the part that leaves me a little anxious as I my biologic hasn’t arrived as yet fear the inflammation starts to build again. As always I remain the forever optimist. Hope you are feeling better! 😌

Thanks Allanah. It is certainly a one off.. If I pay the price, I shall hibernate under my warm duvet with my warm fluffy pyjamas and hot water bottle. All the best to you, Merry Christmas 😁

If you can't indulge on Christmas day when can you? Enjoy yourself and, maybe, pay for it later. My tastes and appetites have gone weird since RD. Meat is revolting, anything too fatty like cheese and cream (which I love) upsets my tummy and I've lost interest in food generally. Happy shopping

Agreed, I thought mine had changed but shall aim to get back in track now as don't want to get use to it eating too much sugar and fats. Although, I have lost all my fat reserve need to put the weight on! Happy Christmas to you 😌

I don't like Baileys and due to the kidney its being a dry chrimbo. But just for the day who cares, scoff on and enjoy it as tomorrow could be back to gruel......

Totally off kilter! Bubbly , red wine all manner of stuff including mince pie brownies ( yes, mince pies baked into a brownie mix🀣🀣) which were divine, cheeses, chocolates... etc.

Feel ok at the moment but the sugar excess is bound to kick in soon.

I too love Baileys, stuffing everything which is on your list. Having to be strict with diet having Coeliac Disease also having to follow Fodmap diet not able to eat garlic or onion etc plus only certain fruit and veg also quantity is an issue as foods ferment in the stomach if eaten too much still enjoyed my day.

However I did let my hair down Boxing Day by having two small mini pancake rolls yep paid for it for few days, only now am getting back on track.

Best wishes

pamela x
