Hello Veronica. Like everything else, we've got nothing to lose. If what we see or hear seems to make sense in every way why not give it a try. I use a different method for this problem. Let us know the outcome if you'll give it a go. All the best.

I always keep a small soft pillow between my knees when I’m on my side too. It stops your hips from tilting too much which then impacts your knees x

I seem to remember years back, pre Paddison, being advised to bend my inflamed knee. Like Paddison in the early days I had a very swollen left knee. I am not sure if I read about this or was told by a physio. I seem to remember that the bending would force the trapped fluid, which causes the swelling, out of the knee where it could then be disposed of by your body.

Not a problem now with the advancement of drug treatments. X

I sometimes sleep with a cushion between my knees , I started doing this 30 years ago when I was pregnant and had a symphyseal diastasis (gap in the front if my pelvis) I found it really comfy so have used it on and off since then. Using it more now since having RD.

well I got myself in a right mess last night, took my pillows up, done what you said Mmrr and got one under my arm for shoulder, too than I was all comfy and needed the totlet, so had to do it all again waking hubby in the process

then I felt trapped when I woke up with all the pillows :O)

and I am not any better for it :O)

lol 🤣

Try one cushion (not a pillow) between your knees, it does take the pressure off if they are achey !
