Knees
Ouch that's so sore,, I hope they can help xxx
To be fair allanah it's not been bothering me that much just started niggling me now I'm resting my feet up I'm dreading having the injection in my hip though he thinks the hip pain is causing my knee pain I think he wants to see if the injection will help ??? But I'm confused I'm back to see him in 4 weeks after this injection he wants me to keep a diary x
Now I can really relate to that, painful. What has he suggested as his next plan for you?
Have u got oa in the h then I'm dreading the injection
Hips, knees & back have been confirmed so far, but I suspect it's in my neck too. I've been taking oral steroids over a year for the RD & my Rheumy wishes me to stay on them long term to work for the OA too rather than keep injecting. I'm taking risendronate weekly, Adcal-D3 daily, etoricoxib alternate days (took that for RD but reinstated for OA) & BuTrans 10mcg patches at the mo but have a review in a couple of weeks to see if I can remain on that or if I need another 5mcg as my GP's sneaky & knows I'll prefer to keep the dose as low as poss if I can cope lol!! I hope the injection eases your pain.
Thanxs Hun good grief u take a lot of meds xx
Can you see a physio? Mine gives me exercises and massage for oa knees
Have had physio Cathie when I saw him in august he said he wanted another look inside knee then he would consider knee cap replacement hasn't even mentioned last night just more interested that I have oa in my left hip now I'm waiting on appointment for injection for that he thinks the hip oa is causing my knee pain???? But to be fair the hips not really bothering me it's my knees getting really frustrated now
