Just been for my 3rd fortnightly blood test and came away feeling like a pin cushion! I must learn to keep my mouth shut..... asked about flu jab and pneumonia jab and guess what she did them there and then (after she checked I should have them), blood from right arm, flu in right arm and pneumonia in left arm. So typing this before arms go stiff and lumps appear.
Seem to be getting along fine with cocktail of hydroxy, MTX and FA I am on (that will be famous last words as my lovely immune system will access my memory bank and decide to love my joints again). Still not letting this 'invisible to other people' disease get me down though I will admit to having a good cry a couple of times, more out of frustration and my dear hubby being too understanding and helpful.
So as long as blood test continues to be ok will move to monthly blood tests. Here's hoping I don't get phone call from Doctor to say he needs to see me.
Keep fighting and remember to keep smiling even if it looks like a grimace through the pain .... keep happy.

It's so good to hear you're doing so well and, even though they're not fun, you've had the flu and pneumonia jabs. If you've only cried a couple of times with frustration I reckon you deserve a big brave girl badge 'cos I think I can manage a couple of melt downs a month at present. Onward and upward eh?
I am 10 weeks on mtx also take hydrox and folic acid and am worried about flu and pneumonia
Jab and wondering what side effects I will have ? I had the flu jab last year and was fine but that was before the mtx. Glad to hear you are getting on fine and like you I try and smile and have a laugh everyday along with the melt downs !!
Had both jabs Thursday, flu jab fine but arm that pneumonia jab was given a bit painful and stiff. Today (Saturday) both arms back to their usual RA self.
