*We have closed the survey due to reaching our target number of responses earlier than anticipated. Thank you to everyone who has completed the survey, your input is vital to what we do and we look forward to sharing the outcomes.*

There is no getting away from stress in our everyday lives and this is why NRAS have developed a survey all about inflammatory arthritis (IA) and stress. We need your support by completing the Stress Matters survey survey.sogosurvey.com/r/8di0so. You must be 18+ to take part and have RA, PsA, AS or Adult JIA. Your support will allow NRAS to develop future resources to provide practical information regarding managing stress levels as well as when potential treatments and therapies to reduce stress may be appropriate. The survey is likely to take 25 minutes of your time to complete. Your views are vitally important so many thanks in advance. For further details on the project please visit our website: nras.org.uk/2022/06/24/nras-stress-matters-survey. If you have any questions about the survey, please email research@nras.org.uk

Had a look but not really relevant, diagnosed as a 6 year old - too long ago to remember.

Completed. I believe I probably had RA undiagnosed as a child. But a very stressful situation led to a massive flair, hospitalisation and a diagnosis. Not once have I been asked about my mental health. Maybe if my mental health had been treated 20 years ago I'd be in a very different place now. I hope this survey represents hope for future patients.

Done. But I believe my RA had been brewing for a number of years, not just the 12 months that the survey considered. It ruled out me mentioning these: acrimonious divorce, having to sell family home, financial concerns, extremely stressful job, health issues, all of which were in several years preceding diagnosis.

Done x
