Everyone will welcome you to this site.If you post your concerns and questions a variety of people will respond from their experience. Nras have lots of helpful booklets too.
Welcome to the forum Jen, you will find lots of support here from lots of people who understand your situation.
I'm sorry that you have to join our merry band! The trouble with having some knowledge of the condition is that you have had exposure only to the worst scenarios - most people with Rheumatoid Arthritis do well on medication and some modifications of their life style. There is lots of support on here from people so if you have any specific queries please ask - and the search box is useful to find previous posts. Also look at the useful websites - the NRAS one is excellent for reliable information. Arthritisresearch.org.uk also has more about arthritis in general.
Hi Sorry you have been diagnosed , but welcome . There is some great info on the NRAS website, and really great and very helpful people here from my short lived experience of this forum ! I understand how you feel I have only recently been diagnosed too ! I just keep thinking to myself that although this is frustrating, that I could be suffering with something much worse, at least there is treatment available. Hope you have someone to give you some support at home . X
Hello Haccrn,
Yes it is scary and it does take some time to take it all in but it is of big help to be able to share your feelings and questions with people that have been there and found ways to make life feel good again. Good luck on your journey and I'm sure you get a lot of help from this forum.x Simba
