Hi,
Just wondering if anyone has tried magnetic copper therapy bracelets ?
I think they are a bit of a farce as copper is not magnetic.
Sorry if that sounds harsh, but I think you would be wasting your money.
Scott
I think they are rubbish to if they worked none of us would be on drugs 🤔
I have been using magnetic bracelets for a long time,I think they help. Doesn't have to be copper, look on amazon lots on there, got to be worth a try hardly expensive. Everyone is different.
Get something that you think is pretty, and would wear as a bracelet whether or not it works, and then it doesn't matter if it doesn't work as you still end up with something nice to wear.
Hi Kerry I tried one and can honestly say it was a waste of money but then I have brought a lot of things to help with pain latest thing was PAINGONE pen when I are in a full blown flare nothing helps me but maybe it will be helpful to you X
You could try it but like copper insoles & others that promise the world there's no solid medical proof. If they offer a money back guarantee then maybe that would sway some but I'd use the money you'd save to treat yourself to something really nice.
Yes its one of my many things that give me relief . I HAVE 3 MAGNETIC braclets WITH COPPER I WEAR ALL THE TIME AS WELL AS MY METHATREXATE TABLETS. I HAVE THE HEART shaped magnetic is very handy for on the spot and they work for me. You can get them on ebay now and they are about £30 each. I often wonder is it only people who have a shortage of something in there blood as they dont work for everyone. NOTHING TAKES ALL THE pain away all of the time but even if its mind over matter maybe im easly pleased with my hypnotising apps and copper and magnets i believe in them all and my regular meds mary xx
Yes!They didn't work!😔
Many years ago, but found they don't work and break easily.
I took part in a trial of magnetic bracelets in the 1990's - you were not supposed to know if you had the active one or not but I thought that it was pretty obvious when you tested it! And they concluded that there was no difference between people who thought they had an active bracelet and those who did not have an active one. Most people thought that they felt better and had less pain, showing the power of thought over our pain perception.
Hi Kerry - Not sure about those - I haven't tried them, but I HAVE just discovered (or was pointed to) Salonpas patches. The large ones are great for back, shoulder or bursitis (hip) pains... I would avoid the small ones with menthol if you have sensitive skin. I had one on each hip for 5 minutes this morning and they burned me. So...
Yes, all they did was turn the skin on my wrist a nasty shade of green!!
same here, it turned my wrist the same, and I can't wear anything that isn't gold or silver, my immune system doesn't like it
