I am thinking I should have a medical alert bracelet in that I am immunosuppressed now. Does anyone else wear one??? I was diagnosed with some sort of inflammatory arthritis. Sometimes the doctor calls it RA, but then she says that it could be psoriatic without the rash.. I guess it is hard to diagnose as there are hundreds of types of inflammatory arthritis. Does anyone have an idea on what a bracelet should say?

Does anyone wear a medical alert bracelet?
I’ve been thinking about one for a while but I don’t like the heavier stainless steel ones (and I’m not sure they’d be able to fit all my medical details on those with a small disc type plate. There are some quite attractive modern ones I saw recently and kept a couple of photos on my phone. This looks decent but not as sturdy as the all metal ones. I’ve seen the silicone ones too with a label on them either inside or out. I’m sure some others on here will let us know if they have one and what they recommend.
Think it would be a good idea. xxxxx
I have my drugs on the lock screen of my phone, and a biological alert card in my purse. I don’t want to wear anything as I don’t like the idea of identifying myself as an ill person.
What drugs do you take? As those are the things to flag up rather than the disease.
It would have to be tucked up my shirt or jumper sleeve as I’m exactly the same. I don’t want anyone to look and comment. However no one is getting that close anyhow at the mo. I don’t like the symbol of the medical alert so dominant on some of them. If the info is etched on the inside of a bangle then ok but they may have difficulty etching/putting my allergies on it and meds too.
I have the emergency-medical page/screen fully completed on my phone and a little card in my wallet section of my purse too.
I have my drugs on lock screen on fone.
No I don't but do have meds listed under ICE on mobile phone and in purse. A good idea someone else suggested is on visor of car too. I have it on reliable information paramedics look on mobiles for info.
Wouldn't your drugs flag up if you were unlucky enough to end up in A&E.
