Are RA meds supposed to give you an upset tummy?

I guess every action has a reaction

Hi They certainly did for me. Make sure you are looking after it with probiotics and live yogurts etc.

I am trying, just thought it was me as awaiting another op in a few days and put it down to something else

Well, they're not SUPPOSED to! But they can do, certainly! If it is a real problem, and doesn't settle, you should let your rheumy know as you may need a change of meds if these don't suit you. All the best! x

Going to try probiotics but had reply yesterday from rheumatology to lower dose and start again plus add something for nausea

Ah, glad you got a reply from them, with some advice. Hope that helps, and good luck!

Rheumatology reply to me the same day. Same goes for my GP and surgery. Just had OT here and they offered a wet room conversion plus an upstairs toilet as the plumbing is in.Shame told them I can manage for now. They also inform d me that there is a full grant available on this cottage for central heating as I only have a log burner. For now they are only fitting four hand rails. They had better not make a mess as drilling into cob walls. I am shocked at what they offered. I thought local governments had no money

Crikey, you can't fault them for all that, can you? That's amazing. Hopefully they use experienced people to fit the items and no damage will be done! I'm still waiting for my rheumy or her secretary to get back to me on a question I asked a few days ago, about doing my injection today. I've done it anyway as I feel fine and the problem I had has mostly cleared up, so bit hard luck if they advise not to!

When I started methotrexate years ago (started with 7 down to 5 once a week now) I would get really sick to my stomach. My Dr. gave me phenergan at first then she said I could split the pills up during the day. Now I take 3 at night and the others as the day goes on. Alot better that way. I take folic acid every day. Hope you find a method that works for you..I hate being nauseaus.
