Top view the scars between big and second toe are barely visable and same again between third and forth toe. The toes were covered in small scabs which left no scars. My foot was twisted over at 30 % and had a lump of addittional bone sticking out on the inner side so it was very diffficult to buy shoes and very painful to walk. My toes had begun to claw as well. If offerred definately worth having done.

My left foot part two.
I'm with you ML...a few months inconvenience to have comfortable feet was definitely worth it for me.
Mind you.....if my foot surgeon decides on Thursday that injections won't do the job I will be a very antsy lady!
I had probably 10-12 injections over 20 years sometimes they did'nt work but mostly they did. The surgeon said leave the problem too long and it'll be a lot more difficult. So up to me and because I'd had enough of the pain I thought just do it! Overnight in hospital as I take blood meds (Riveroxaban) but no problems at all. I wonder if its a postcode lottery thing so here its done somewhere else its not. The NHS is hard pressed we al know that but it does elimate all the orthotics at a stroke and makes life so much easier. Bring on the blue and silver high heeled sandals. lol
I just thought it might help if people see that foot surgery can be done and it was painless just had to wear a the ski boot for 6 weeks then the big blue shoe for another few weeks, then heels. xXx
I have had two of my toes on my left foot straightened and the pins come out on Wednesday.xxx
Wow! What a dainty foot. As you say, you can hardly see the scars. If/when it comes to it, I won't be so hesitant. My sister had her's done and she was in pain for ages which put me off. Thank you
