Operation......

Good morning one and all,well today i go into hospital for surgery on my left foot to have two toes straightened. A bed has been booked for me just in case i have to stay in overnight. This is due to being chronically ill and all the drugs i am on. So here's hoping things go alright.xxxx

Thank you all very much for your comments. I am home in a boot go back in two weeks for stitches out then six weeks later to have the wires out and then we will see how it has played out.xxxxx

I had all mine done in October and bony overgrowth removed and foot straightened it involved an over night stay but so worth it. Pretty dancing feet now! xxlol

I’ve 4 toes on right foot that the ar has pulled finto a claw but my podiatrist doesn’t want to do anything yet. Lucky you!!🤗

Thank you Magymay your right i am finding the enforced rest blooming difficult. I think this is worse than when i broke my ankle 3yrs ago. I was completely non-weight bearing then and i think it was easier than this. It is 2.20am and i am down here taking more pain-killers as my toes are so sore.

Hope it went well. I've just had a neuroma removed and found the whole process really painful and unpleasant. Seems foot surgery is not the most comfortable. However I'm pleased I had it done.

It is worse than when i broke it as it is more painful. I am sure in the long term i won't regret it,but at the moment it is so uncomfortable and at times the pain just gets to me and i end up in tears. The upside is my tan is coming along nicely thank you very much. lol.xxxx

Hi Sylvia ,my days are turning into nights with this fatigue ,just hope it gets better every day ,I'd say one step at a time but even that's not appropriate 😉,luv and hugs my friend ,I know you will fight back xx🙏

I am getting there darling,it is hard walking as i can't put any weight on the front of the foot. Fatigue is something i suffer from all the time so i understand how your feeling. I am coming unable to much of anything no.It is a struggle to do my garden which i love to do. Hugs darling.xxxx
