Successful PIP renewal๐Ÿ˜Ž

After many months of stress I finally got my Brown envelope yesterday, my stomach did a somersault at sight of it on the door mat.

Fortunately for me, my original award has been retained and this time it's for at least 10 years instead of my last 3 yr award.

I hope everyone else gets their correct award.

Thanks Ruth, we shouldn't have to fight so hard for something we are entitled to..

I agree. I think if people hadnt tried to get DLA when they didnt need it maybe it wouldnt be as bad, but so many people got it and seem to boast about it maybe something had to be done. I do think its got rediculous now and so very stressfull. I got mine for 3 years and after reading on here that they review after 2 that means ive got a year before I start again. My husband has had copd since 3 yrs old due to nearly dieing from an asian flue and has perminant lung damage. He was told he had DLA for life but is having to apply again for pip. He sees chest specialist every six months and the specialist said its so hard now to get pip. So as I say he / we in middle of that for him.

So pleased to hear your good news. ๐Ÿ™‚๐Ÿ™‚๐Ÿ™‚

Yes unfortunately it was after a very stressful f2f at home.

I got my enhanced for both renewed as they say my condition has show a deterioration since my initial f2f 2 years ago.

Even though I got the correct outcome the report states I can do things that can't ๐Ÿ™„

I don't wish to pour cold water on your news Ajay but you know how the DWP/Gov can promise stuff... is this info written down anywhere, like in stone?! It's just at my review I was awarded enhanced on both components but for 6 years not 10 so could possibly relate to me. Given we're long term & unlikely to change the hope is we'd be considered in that bracket too.
