Does anyone else find that their affected joints can even be tender to touch? A bruised like feeling?

Tender to touch
Yes. A number of my joints feel like that and warm to the touch
In full flare even the wind blowing on them made my hands hurt. Hot, swollen and incredibly painful and, yes, that bruised feeling is only too familiar.

Yes, I only started meds (hydroxy) at Easter, and my knuckles always feel bruised to the touch two of the in particular, I think it’s swelling in joint capsules that makes it feel like that, as the ones that felt like it are definitely slightly larger than ones that aren’t, if that makes sense! Some days it’s worse than others like I can catch a toe or finger on something very lightly but hurts more than it would if it wasn’t inflamed.
All the best to everyone xxx
And yes they feel warm at times especially if it’s a flare
Yes, and when I’m in a flare they feel warm as well.
Thanks for this ages ago when I mentioned it to the dr they just shrugged it off. But have recently started with it in my shoulder as well as knee and hip so wondered if there was a connection. Just waiting now to get meds sorted.
Hi, yes I found that when my wrists were swollen I could hardly bear to touch them, a strange feeling, very sore.
