Well hospital rang and concealed my appointment said be intouch with another one and it's a good job I'm not in work this evening

Out of ten hospital appointments I have had nine re-scheduled! My latest one due in March was rescheduled for June when I will be away. I phoned to tell them this was not convenient and the administrator was unable to find to the new appointment on record anyway. She promised to get a new appointment off to me that day but 10 days later I am still waiting. I appreciate how busy and underfunded the hospital is but when thy closed our local hospital to build the new one they didn't take into consideration the massive increase in local population due to housing developments. It is no longer fit for purpose and is likely to get worse. I hope you get your appointment soon,

In the year I was diagnosed should have been closely monitored but I had many appointments cancelled and rescheduled.

This year I’m taking part in a research study so being reviewed every month.

I’m not sure what’s going to happen when the year is finished. I have an appointment with the consultant in April but the research nurse said I will be going back to my original consultant.

Let’s wait and see

I would suggest you call the help line. In my area you call the secretaries.

Not wanting to upset anyone but had 2 recent appointments brought forward. If it's something that can't wait it will not be cancelled. Lots of appts cancelled in January. It was on the news
