Morning peeps😁
I was chatting with a work colleague yesterday and she was asking why I didn't take curcumin. I hadn't heard of this... any clues or advice?

Turmeric and black pepper, I can't rate it enough!! Have look for golden paste on the web, it can be made fresh and when I don't have time I take two capsules throughout the day. My rheumatologist is on board with it and is happy for me to take along side my regular meds. I was concerned about the number of tablets I was taking and and now I don't take daily naproxen, co-codamol and stomach liner meds as this seems to be doing the job. I only take said meds if I have a flare occasionally. Worth running it past you're Dr like I did, but for me personally, I wouldn't be without it. ( Lots of research on it that's worth a read as well )
Good luck, Woody.

If you assess Curcumin/ Turmeric is something you wish to try -- please work closely with your physician(s)/ rheumatologist 👩⚕️👨⚕️ to ensure any supplements 💊 , spices ☄️, herbs 🌱, etc. that you plan on ingesting do not conflict with any meds you're may be currently taking or your current condition(s). You may already be well aware of this. 👍 🙏 (Merely noting 📝 just as a safe ⚠️, gentle reminder. 😌 ) Think it's safest if we continue working hand-in-hand 🤝 with our medics as a 'check & balance' ⚖ -- to ensure we don't 'go off the rails' 🛤 . 😳 🙃 (Merely my layman's opinion 🗣💬.)

I take circumin every day and cool with it as well. Works fairly well as a mild anti inflammatory.
Would not say it is a cure all. But it makes food taste better.
Thank you -all🤓Not long had a rheumy appt, so will be a while before the next one; I'll ask her opinion when I see her next☺
I take it and have for years. I take the Terry Naturally brand called Curamin extra strength with Boswella for pain relief, every morning. I can definitely tell the difference when I don’t take it. My rheumatologist looked over the ingredients and approved whole-heartedly. It’s a bit pricy and insurance won’t pay for it, but it’s worth it to me.
I put it in food. Not sure it makes much difference, but it tastes good!
