The after effects of the weekend from hell.....

Morning all, well what a weekend we have had not only with me,but with hubby as well. We were both at the drs this morning and dh problem is his hiatus hernia and dehydration and his bp was high Christmas night. Anyway dr has increased one of his drugs for his hernia and told him to take peptac as well(excuse the spelling.)

Now back to me, The dr this morning gave me some sleeping tablets to help me sleep. I have always said if i could sleep i could cope with whatever was thrown at me. Now this afternoon i am back at the hospital and i don't know what they think they can do for me,but we will have to wait and see. I am just so damn tired all the time if i could sleep i would be able to fight what my body is doing to me.

Well i do hope you all had a lovely Christmas.xxxxx

Hi Sylvie

Hope they find the cause of your seizure the other day.

I take sleeping tablets due to lack of sleep. Even these don't always work.

Good luck with your appointment this afternoon

Gentle hugs

Sorry to hear you have both been suffering. Hope the hospital can sort something out. Sending you both gentle hugs. XXX

Hi Sylvi, fatigue is an awful thing isn't it: thought it was just me with sleeping problems. I ve gone from 12 hours+ a day before startin meds to being awake half the night, yet I'm permanently knackered, ironic isn't it?

Hope you get a good night's sleep soon, best one this week was Christmas day: due to drink n drugs as i missed mtx last week: present to myself, lol 😄

Dear Sylvi, I hope Bob continues to improve & your appointment this afternoon gives a clearer indication of what's troubling you. Let us know, please? x

Back from the hospital,i am to have a echocardiogram and a heart monitor on for 24hrs so they can rule out any heart problems they are still worried out the shuddering which i get on a regular basis at night especially. She was really lovely with me and was so kind. I told her if i could sleep i can cope with what these diseases throw at me. Also today i have managed to twist my left knee and it is blooming sore. Anyway i am in my pjs and new dressing gown and i am cosy and i am not going out anymore today as it has been so blooming cold and snowy. So i am going to secret myself in the warm. Thank you all for caring.xxxx

You're spot on there. Staying in the warm and keeping toasty sounds good to me. I do hope they find the cause of your problems and find an effective treatment soon. Big hugs
