I was told a full two days after finishing Nitrofurantoin for a UTI in summer before I could have my infusion, but I would check with your rheumy nurse and tell them what you've taken antibiotic wise. x

You need to check with your rheumatology department as I was told I should continue my DMARds

I think each Rheumatology specialist has a different opinion regarding when to continue or stop antibiotics.

I’m on a biologic now and know I need to stop antibiotics and restart after 2 days following their completion

Guess it depends on which antibiotics you've taken and if you take DMARDs or other RA meds.

If your on antibiotics I don't think you can carry on with methetrexate or Biologics until you Finnish the antibiotics but I would double check with your rheumatologist

I was given co amoxicab Which amoxicillin within it by an ENT specialist. I didn’t start taking it until I spoke to Rheumatology Specialist. They told me I can take the antibiotic and continue MXT.

Me too, told that it's ok to take both. BUT I think it's quite an individual thing as if you have other conditions, are frail for other reasons, older etc then you are more likely to be advised to stop the DMARDs.
