Useful thread that mentions Frio bags: healthunlocked.com/nras/pos...
I normally by plane to a single country
Partner has had diabetes on insulin for over 30 years.
He and now me travel with our repeat prescription. You need to take all medicines in your hand luggage a takes more than you need.
You can use frio bags (are expensive but good) but we usually use a cool bag with an ice pack wrapped with kitchen towel as it be too cold but lasts on a long flight.
You need to pay for a letter from your GP but your local hospital may give you one but your up to date prescription is OK. If you are on medication like Co codamol might be banned so look to see the laws localky
I endorse what Matilda says...make sure the medication you are taking is allowed into the country you are going to.
Look at Foreign Officd advice to travellers website...it gives infirmation how to contact foreign embassies in the UK to get information,
Remember the woman jailed in Egypt for importing Tramadol !!!
What did happen to her I wonder?
