Finally seeing a rheumatologist

I have an appointment for tomorrow I think at 230? My mom never told me the time but it’s a two hour drive and we are leaving at twelve or so. I’ll be having my RA levels tested and all that lovely stuff and I really hope that they can help make my life easier and less painful. I miss being able to play all the sports I used to play or just get out of the house to go shopping for that matter.

Hi Ccrowlu. I am sorry to hear of your pain and suffering to the extent that you could not enjoy doing those things that you liked. I used to be wrecked with pain but I didn't know what the cause was. It made me feel so upset as I could not do or enjoy the things that I like such as hiking and even window-shopping. When I was eventually diagnosed with RA, I was scared and in disbelief. It took me about 2 weeks or so before I accepted that I have to take the meds. The meds worked almost instantly and I am so thankful. I am now back to doing things that I love. Whatever happens next, I hope that I will always look at life positively. As such, I hope your doctor will be able to diagnosed your problem. God bless. Keep looking up :)
