Hi there, my symptoms started about a year ago it took a while to get diagnosed. My pain started in my wrists, hands then knees and foot. One day I will have pain in my wrist, next day the pain will be in one of my feet. Winter was a painfull experience, I was feeling depressed, fatigue and hopeless. Now the good news, after I got my first appointment with the Reumathologist everything changed; she prescribed methrotexate. I am feeling 90% better!, more optimistic although I still feel fatigued sometimes. Some side effects for me has been very sensitive teeth, which is kind of uncomfortable. I wish you the best all your pains should get much better once you are under treatment.
Thank you! The last time my bloods were taken at the gps my inflammatories were up a bit but my bloods came
Back negative for rheumatoid arthritis so a bit unsure as to what the rheumy will say! My hands, fingers, wrists, elbows and shoulders have all been sore since April, sometimes pain is a lot worse than others! The pain in my foot has been for the last week and a bit with no sign of
Improving so hopefully rheumy will have some answers x I'm glad ur medication is working and feelin more like ur old self x
Hi I too had no inflammatory markers. In my blood results. In hindsight I think my diagnosis would have been quicker if I had been really clear about the affect on my day to day living. My RA is relatively mild but as I said to my doctor it is life changing for me. You need to be clear about the impact of pain/fatigue and take pictures of any symptoms however subtle. Good luck
I have pain around the edge of my right heel - quite painful to walk on, and sometimes the pain turns to numbness. I think it was one of the symptoms that alerted my new rheumatologist to the fact that I had sero negative inflammatory arthritis as opposed to PMR with which was originally diagnosed. The mtx has eased it a little - not completely. But I've had it so long now - two years - that it doesn't bother me too much.
I just want a diagnosis and then try anything to get back to feeling human again! I can't even wear high heels...I was at a wedding last night and I have been struggling to walk all day, my foot is so sore to touch, even if something bangs against it I hit the roof! The poor dogs I am constantly shouting at them lol time will tell what it is and hopefully get some answers and relief xx
Oh i feel your pain Chelle, the dogs are always standing on my feet too and I can't get my shoes on so wearing flip flops! I burst into tears other day when my sons dog stood on my foot she's a big lump, she looks like ermentrude from magic roundabout! I hope you get some help at appt will watch out for your updates x
