I feel for you. It's a misery when no clinical diagnosis can be made, but you are still suffering. I hope the consultant at least addresses the pain, and helps you with that even if don't have a clue what the underlying problem is. If they try to discharge you from rheumatology, ask to be kept on the list with a future review (no matter how far away) as then you won't have to go through the lengthy process of referral. But hopefully they will accept that there's something wrong and keep reviewing you.
