NRAS Group Meetings— Week Commencing 9th October 2017

Great Yarmouth NRAS Group

The Great Yarmouth & Waveney NRAS Group meet in the ‘Buzz Room’ of the Louise Hamilton Centre, James Paget Hospital, Gorleston, Great Yarmouth, NR31 6LA from 5:30pm-7:00pm.

10th October - Guest speaker: Dr. Andreas Brodbeck, Consultant Anaesthetist, Pain Management at James Paget Hospital will present: 'Pain management and non pharmacological methods'

Lincoln NRAS Group

Bi-monthly meetings for this group are held at The Ark, Moor Lane, North Hykeham, LN6 9AB from 7:00-9:00pm.

10th October - General meeting, no speaker

Banbury NRAS Group

The Banbury NRAS Group meet bi-monthly on a Wednesday in the Training Room of the Horton Hospital, Oxford Road, Banbury, OX16 9AL from 6:30pm-8:00pm.

11th October - Guest speaker Tina Wells will present 'Tai Chi Chih - Gentle Moving and Meditation'

North Hampshire & Winchester (Basingstoke) NRAS Group

The following dates for group meetings are to be held at Central 40, Chineham Park, Basingstoke RG24 every other month on a Wednesday from 7:00pm-9:00pm.

11th October - Dr Catherine Swales, Senior Fellow and Honorary Consultant in Rheumatology, NIHR Clinical Trials Unit, Oxford will present: 'Everything You Wanted to Know About RA, But Never Got the Chance to Ask.'

Tayside NRAS Group

The Tayside NRAS group are holding meetings in the Gannochy Lecture Theatre at Ninewells Hospital, Dundee, DD2 1UB from 6:30-8:00pm

Wednesday 11th October - Dr Vinod will talk about co-morbidities and answer questions

Weston-super-Mare NRAS Group

Meetings are held in Conference Room 1 at The Campus, Highlands Lane, Weston-super-Mare, BS24 7DX monthly on a Wednesday from 6:30pm to 8:30pm.

11th October - Debbie Reames, Holistic Therapist will present on how reflexology and holistic therapy can help those living with RA

North East NRAS Group

The North East Group run quarterly educational meetings which are held in Function Room 137, Education Centre, Level 1, Freeman Hospital, High Heaton, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, NE7 7DN from 5.30pm-8.00pm.

Thursday 12th October - Guest speaker: Mr Philip Powell, Directorate Manager, Musculoskeletal Services on the Newcastle Upon Tyne Hospitals, Rheumatology Service; size, scope and outcomes.

You, your family, friends and healthcare professionals are all very welcome to attend and you don’t have to be a member of NRAS to attend a group meeting!
