Good luck. Hope it all goes smoothly for you. π€π»
Brilliant π
Hope it goes well. Humira changed my life. I was switched to Amgevita, which was worrrying when it happened, but life is still good.
Not long to wait now. ππ»
Great news - hope that it works quickly π
I started Humira on Thursday 15th July, nurse coming to supervise the second one on Thursday 28th. No meds since 14th August 2020. MTX was really not suiting me, nor was it greatly reducing the inflammation . . . either would have been ok (both would have been a result obviously!) but to be failing on both grounds . . .I have my life, and more to the point, brain back (after a fashion, although the chaps here may query that one) without the MTX but little functionality in my hands and feet, plus lots of other parts of me giving issues, thankfully more often in rotation, but sometimes all at the same time - wrists, elbows, shoulders, neck, lower back, hips, knees. I'm hoping Humira does the trick.
Trust it goes well for you. (tried to put a smiley face but it's not working on our laptop, not very techy- sorry!)
Great news. I hope all goes well.
Hi Carolsos.Glad that you are starting on Humera, iβm into my second year of using it. Nothing to worry about. Simple to use, although it does sting for 7seconds,but i remember the first time using it the pain was controlled almost imediately.By the way,the syringe they have changed but still (Humera) very easy to apply, pain free! The great advantage is, no more prednesone( bloating), plaquinil, or other meds. I do use methodrexate though, which is ok, only, hair loss is an issue, but weighing it all up I am free of so much medication, and feel so much better.
I wish you well, and pray you have no problems with it. God blessπ
Excellent.
I was on humera for about 3 years and it was brilliant. I had to come off it as I began to come out in large blotches mainly on legs and they turned very weepy. Since then I have been able to get away with taking co-dydramol when needed so maybe the blotches were showing I no longer needed it!
Hope it goes well for you Carolsos. xx
Thank you everyone for your replies. Take care.
