Hi Guys, I've always had very dark hair and although it had got a bit lighter and a wee bit grey I'm now practically a blonde- everyone is asking when I got it dyed etc - I didn't - I can only think it's the hydoxychloroquine - anyone else having this

I am a blonde, which they say have more fun! Haha! If this is what fun feels like, I want to crawl in a hole!

I used to take Hydroxycloroquine, but never had that happen to me! My advice ask the rheumatologist or call the manufacturer hotline! Might be an unreported side effect!

On a lighter note, test out the blonde theory and live it up a little!

Wishing you well,

Mandy

Hey thanks for the response -I'll certainly test the theory ha ha - I did not in the dude effects it mentioned blonding if the hair and darkening if the skin - so I may be in pain but at least I'll be a blond beach babe ha ha you've got to laugh thanks- on a serious bit u will check with my rheumi

Exactly what I try to do, I laugh at myself and try to find at least on positive thing a day! Try this lol play Bruno Mars The Lazy song and up do your blonde hair, put on you swimsuit and sunglasses then..... Lay on the couch with a fruity looking drink! If anyone asks, you are testing out the new hair color!!!! Keep them guessing!

Love that you are laughing!

Hi! I have noticed my hair fading more quickly between colorings..I'm natural copper penny red but keep ending up a strawberry blonde! Those pesky grays keep coming back too!

I went au natural a couple of years back due to allergies so am rocking a multi-toned silver fox look. I'm so trying not to mention 50 shades of grey

As long as the quality of your hair is not being affected then you are blondie for free! As or here have said is worth mentioning the side effect. I have never taken that med (but it could solve my issue of expensive spatula highlights!! The only hair change I've noticed is mine is more wavier at the ends but it's what I call my Meno Hair. 😝 I like mine very straight too!!

I'm also blonde now after being a burnette for over 40 years! ....and YES, it's the hydroxy & the sulpha that I take :)
