NRAS Group Meetings— Week Commencing 17th July 2017

Swansea NRAS Group

Meetings are held at Sketty Parish Centre, De La Beche Road, Sketty, Swansea, SA2 9AR on a Monday from 7:30pm-9:00pm.

17th July - Guest speaker: Clare Rayner, Physiotherapist will present 'Explaining Pain' - Clare Rayner BSc(Hons) MCSP, has been a chartered physiotherapist for over 15 years and has worked for the NHS and in the private sector

Hertfordshire NRAS Group

Quarterly meetings are held at Welwyn Civic Centre, Prospect Place, Welwyn AL6 9ER on a Tuesday from 7:00pm-8:30pm.

18th July - Guest speaker: Julie Goodwin, owner of Natural Health Hertfordshire, with shops and attached therapy centres in Welwyn Garden City and Hertford

Three Counties NRAS Group

Meetings held at St Francis Church Hall, 121 Upper Chobham Road, Frimley, GU15 1EE bi-monthly on a Tuesday 7:00pm-9:00pm.

18th July - Guest speaker: Jeannette Cameron, Rheumatology Clinical Nurse Specialist will present: ‘General information and symptoms for RA’

Torbay NRAS Group

Meetings held at: Barton Baptist Church, Happaway Road, Barton, Torquay, TQ2 8HJ once every other month on a Tuesday from 7:00-8:30pm.

18th July - Guest speaker: Dr. Kirsten Mackay, Clinical Lead for Rheumatology & Osteoporosis, Torbay & South Devon NHS Trust will present: ‘Biologic Therapies for RA and Psoriatic Arthritis 2017 Update’

St Helens NRAS Group

The group meets every other month in Room 8 at St. Helens Town Hall, Victoria Square, St. Helens, WA10 1HP from 6.30pm-8pm.

Wednesday 19th July - 'Healthy Living' by a member of the Healthy Living team in St Helens about the range of services available locally to you and your family

Blackpool NRAS Group

Blackpool and District NRAS Group (BADRAG) meet in the cafeteria at Clifton Hospital, Pershore Road, Lytham St. Annes, FY8 1PB from 7:00pm – 8:30pm on the third Thursday of alternate months.

20th July - 'Coping with a Flare' by Angela Moore and Joan De Vega, Rheumatology Nurses

East Dorset NRAS Group

The East Dorset group meet socially for coffee from 11am at Stewarts Garden Centre, Lyndhurst Road, Christchurch, Dorset, BH23 4SA and also Haskins Garden Centre, Longham, Ferndown, Dorset BH22 9DG. Upcoming coffee morning is as follows: 20th July at Haskins

North East NRAS Group

The North East Group run quarterly educational meetings which are held in Function Room 137, Education Centre, Level 1, Freeman Hospital, High Heaton, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, NE7 7DN from 5.30pm-8.00pm.

Thursday 20th July - Joanna Carnell, Clinical Psychologist will present: 'Living alongside a Health Condition'

Stoke-on-Trent NRAS Group

The Stoke-on-Trent NRAS Group are holding all future meetings in the outpatients waiting area at the Haywood Hospital, High Lane, Burslem, ST6 7AG on the third Thursday of every other month from 7:00-8:30pm.

20th July - Guest speaker: Katie White, Tissue Viability Nurse Specialist will present: ‘The importance of skin management for people with RA’

West Wales NRAS Group

Meetings will take place in the Renal Unit Seminar Room at Withybush General Hospital, Fishguard Rd, Haverfordwest SA61 2PZ.

Thursday 20th July 6:30pm - Guest speakers: beauty and massage therapist from the Elizabeth Ann Salon in Haverfordwest, and a session on Reiki.

Yeovil NRAS Group

The Yeovil NRAS group hold coffee mornings once a month from 10:30am-12pm in two locations in Yeovil: Palmers Garden Centre Coffee Shop, Bernards Way, Bunford Lane, Yeovil, BA20 2FH and The Gateway Cafe, Addlewell Lane, Yeovil, BA20 1QN. Next coffee meet: Thursday July 20th - Palmers.
