Starting Humira

I am due to start Humira in a couple of weeks, once my hip surgery has recovered. I received a cooler bag and a diary in the post and I am a bit confused. As if it isn't worrying enough to have to start Humira in the first place I don't know why the diary only talks about my PSA symptoms and recording any scaley skin patches. Well I have been diagnosed with Inflammatory arthritis. Is this medication not for other conditions other than PSA?

I believe that it is used for a lot of auto-immune conditions. Nothing to worry, about as long a you avoid infections.

Yes , I had Humira for my Rheumatoid Arthritis. My pack sounded different to yours. You could contact the company sending it you, tell them about it, they may send you a different copy. Rie.

I JUST met with the Abbvie ambassador for Humira yesterday! I have RA and my packet listed numerous autoimmune disorders but highlighted rheumatoid arthritis. My representative told me that 70% of her patients were RA patients.

Btw..this was my first experience injecting myself- she came to my home offering training and education. After the education and training I self injected. Success- now here's to Humira, may it bring remisssion!!😊

I'm a bit confused as to Abbvie care are. Before when I injected with Benepali I had a nurse come out that I thought was from Health care at Home and they also delivered. Now there seems to be three lot's involved.
