Hurting, lost, & confused

Hi Roxann
Welcome. I'm sorry to hear that your in such pain and feeling so alone in it. I'm afraid there's no significant words I'd advice I can offer other than to see your go as a priority and urge him to make appropriate urgent referrals.
Your gp may also be able to offer you something to hold you in the meantime?
I do hope you get something sorted that affords you some respite and I wish you the best going forward.
Marie
It's quite frightening when we lose sensation isn't it! I've had this too with sciatica and although my GP was supportive and helpful with pain relief, they couldn't do much else. The osteopath was helpful and I went to the swimming pool every day and did stretching exercises in the pool. Several months later, I had an appointment with the orthopaedic specialist and chose to do nothing - as by then it was much improved. The options were - an injection, and operation or nothing. I've had occasional problems since, but nothing as bad as that attack.
