Medication

I have been reading a lot about LDN. For Rheumatoid Arthritis does anybody know where this can be bought. The write ups seem really good. I have tried 3 medications now and am feeling so much worse. I think I am going to have to change my rheumy doctor as I come away so down. It's a hopeless situation. Has anyone else felt like this.

Look at Simba1992's posts, as quite a few references. But be aware that, like the things you've already tried, it doesn't work for everyone. And discuss carefully with your rheumy as if you have an aggressive, erosive RA you could be risking quite a bit of damage. Many people try alternatives in parallel with standard approaches to minimise risks.

Sadly it can be a long, hard road trying to find the treatment that suits you best. However, for the vast majority of people there will be one. So the next one could be the magic one for you.

You can find all the information you need about LDN here: ldnresearchtrust.org. They have a list of doctors in UK that are using LDN to treat patients. I had a phone consultation and getting now my LDN sent to me to France. Good luck😊

I have been on the site you said, and the only place is Glasgow which now cannot prescribe LDN unless you are in Lanarshire.

If you contact Clinic 158 you can have a phone consultation with Dr. McCall who can write you a prescription that goes automaticly to Glasgow Pharmacy and the med is sent to you at your home address. You need a new perscription every three months but it is very easy and quick.

Really interested in this as although my RA is supposedly in remission I am still in a lot of pain from ? fibromyalgia, trochanteric bursitis, which leads to osteo in my knees when the bursitis is not injected. and general stiffness and surrounding pain. Would be interested to hear what people on here are taking it for and if it is working.

As Simba says, try Clinic 158. They will need confirmation of your diagnosis and other details, and will arrange a telephone consultation. If all is OK, they will arrange the prescription with Dicksons in Glasgow and it will be posted to you every month. It is quite easy. I'd say it is well worth a try.
