Good Morning,I was wondering if anyone had any experience of using compression gloves for painful hands and if so would they recommend them.

Compression gloves
Yes, I find them helpful when finger hints are painful, especially first thing in the morning or in cold weather. However, it's a pain (literally!) taking them of for hand washing, child care, cooking etc,!
Hi
I have used compression gloves in the past, particularly when sleeping and have found them to be very useful. At the time, the pain and swelling in my hands was so severe, I was unable to sleep at all.
Compression gloves helped ease the pain allowing me some, albeit broken sleep and certainly helped with the swelling.
In the morning, I would also use splints to support my hands and wrists. Together, these helped minimise pain and swelling and helped me manage much more effectively.
Best of luck with things.
Marie
Have used compression gloves when trying to do things and also when hands have been bad. Good for keeping them warm too. Also a softer pair for use overnight. Well worth having even for occasional use.
As the the other people have said they are very usefull when hands are sore or it's cold and also doing things, I wear mines all the time as I get a lot off bother with my hands
I use compression gloves and compression sleeves on my elbows. I used the Dr Arthritis ones. Pricey but they have made a big difference to me. I work in a lab and was finding general lab work hard as it's my elbows and hands that are most painful. But I wear the gloves in the morning to help ease the stiffness and pain and I wear the sleeves all day. It's made a real difference to me. Hope you find some relief.x
