Delivery Problems

Had a text for my next Benepali delivery which left me 2 weeks without injections, contacted them and had the date changed, as this is only my second delivery I was wondering if this is a regular occurrence getting the wrong dates.

I've found that Royal Mail deliver mine and it's usually the day after they arrive , my last delivery was just after new year and because off the holidays it was UPS that delivered and delivered to the wrong address which I don't know why because my name and address is on the box, they gave my drugs to an address 1 mile away and by good luck the lady phoned me up as she gets drugs as well she even said to the driver that she only gets 1 box but he was adamant she was to get 2,so there is an investigation ongoing to see why the drugs were delivered to the wrong address

Hi, I was surprised by your delivery details, as my Benepali has to be delivered refrigerated.

It is it's in a cool box with ice that lasts 96 days out the fridge , when I get it I put it straight into fridge

Hi Jacko doodle, I have my deliveries organised by Healthcare at Home and have had deliveries since August last year. I've had little blips such as delivery drivers running late and all had been going well until my last delivery. I was told my delivery slot had been booked but then received texts with conflicting information. It took a number of calls and emails to get it sorted out and to be honest I could have done without it.

The frustrating thing, which seems to have affected you, is that the delivery time is down to the wire. This leaves no margin for error and can result in no meds so I'm sorry you've found this.

I had read on the forum of a number of difficulties with deliveries from Healthcare at Home so I wasnt surprised when this instance happened. Unfortunately I don't think there is any redress and once the meds are missed they are missed.

Fingers crossed this is just a one off for you.

Best wishes, Vicky

I have mine delivered by Healthcare At Home. The last time they rang me to arrange a new delivery they said that they were having problems getting the Benepali so rather than deliver two boxes they would deliver one and then another one four weeks later.... I was a bit worried as I only had one in the fridge but it came on time so all is well.

Is this who deliver yours ?

I have been on Enbrel for about 7 years now and recently hah have been very good and reliable. I have agreed to change to Benepali but really wish I had not now! Am told will need a visit to show me how to use pen. After 10 years of mtx and Enbrel with all sorts of injections and pens. Now next delivery is 2 months worth of Enbrel and I can't switch till prescription runs out in June. I am particularly unhappy about this as I am away for 3 weeks from at the end of May start June. Now there seems to be supply problems. I am playing phone tag with hospital nurse who organises it. I wish I had not agreed to change but wanted more people to get the benefit if I switched to the cheaper drug. It has worked well for me but am worried that I will start messing up my control of my RA. Am trying to reduce my other drugs as Enbrel seems to be the drugs that controls me and have lost more than 7 stone so far. Please let me know if you are having problems getting Benepali

I switched from Enbrel to Benepali last year and have had no problems whatsoever. I get them from healthcare at home and they have alwauys been delivered on time even when others were having great problems with them. I think it depends where you live, I am in West Yorkshire but my friend in Kent is still having problems with them every month. The only complaint I have is that with Enbrel they delivered 12 pens at a time but I only get 4 Benepali pens so deliveries have to be arranged every month. They have just arranged the dates of my next two deliveries and no mention of a shortage of Benepali. When I first switched from Enbrel they said I would get a call from a nurse who would come and show me how to inject. No-one called, which I was quite pleased about because I didn't think it was necessary. You get a demonstration video on USB pen and it's very straightsorward to inject.

I have had no problem with Health Care at Home deliveries, but they have had difficulties getting my prescriptions from the hospital, it has now been twice that I have missed 3weeks and then two weeks of my Embrel, I am beginning to get suspiciouse that it is all part of the cuts at our hospital, I have now been informed that I will be going onto Benipali and it will be delivered by Lloyds Pharmacy so I hope they are as good at delivering as Health Care at home was.

I had no problem with them but I was told to cancel my deliveries as I had to stop using it. I rang and cancelled my next delivery straight away. This week an automated text message told me my delivery would be Monday 6th. I rang them straight away and was insured it was cancelled. Now imagine my surprise when a few minutes ago I hear the door bell and there stands the delivery man with the Benepali. Then I come on here and see this question about problems with deliveries. I wonder if that lot will be used if it is sent back or thrown away.
