Had a fall

I have an unstable knee and ankle due to RA. Today my knee gave way I went over on my ankle as I was coming down some steps. I tried to grab the handrail but somehow I managed to get my hand caught and have broken two fingers. So painful, I am really feeling sorry for myself.

Know just how you feel -inca. Like you I had a "silly accident" broke my arm & banged my head - hard!

My broken arm is now out of plaster & is so awkward...I flicked my coat collar with the arm yesterday ....OUCH!I

I hope fingers heal quicker than arms, but I guess with RA any broken bone is a lottery as to how quickly it heals.

I think you are completely justified in feeling sorry for yourself! If your meds allow pour yourself a nice glass of wine & think, of all the horrid things you can get out of of doing!

Know how you feel my knees gave way 3 weeks ago at the leisure centre thought I'd broke my ankle but X-rays showed no breaks torn ligaments so am hobbling about at moment

It's a worry, I think the RA is difficult enough to cope with, without additional injuries. I hope you recover well and feel better soon

How horrid and unfair it feels. But accidents do happen to everyone it's just much harder for us
