Love the crisp cold weather, but...

Plays havoc with my joints! Anyone else find the cold hurts? Took my neighbours collie out with mine today and was hobbling along with a stick.

What an atmospheric pic Nettie. I don't normally like wintery scenes much as I don't like Winter but there's something about yours I do like.

Yes, I think the cold hurts but it's the damp that gets into my joints somehow. Wrap up warm, ear muffs on, keep your feet dry & your hands in mittens & you might just defeat the cold getting in!♥️

I much prefer cold to hot! But here it is a dry cold, so not quite the same. I'm as happy as a clam at minus 15 and thoroughly miserable when it goes over 25....

Yes this cold damp weather makes my joints ache ny fingers go numb and lock and the itching starts hey ho. Happy new year and roll on the summer xx

Got up at six to walk the mutt and almost slipped on my Harris!! Seriously icey round here. I'm terrified of falling over and breaking something!!

It's more the damp with me, here this morning it's damp and foggy, even though I'm inside I ache. I love the cold - not as much as the heat! But you can't beat a walk on a lovely crisp morning.

And I did fall on my butt! I think I might have developed Tourette's alongside the autoimmune disorder. You should have had heard the things that came out of my mouth! I also threw my walking stick across the street in frustration!

It's the humiliation that hits me square in the jaw every now and then. Humph😡
