So, a new regime for us both, I'm due to start leflunomide alongside my MTX next week. Let's hope for a marked improvement together. x

Sylvi.

I know none of us like having to,increase the amount of meds we have to take, but if it will give you an improvement then you should give it a whirl .If it makes things easier and less pain free for you then go for it.

Best wishes to you and nomoreheels that you're new tabs regimes give you both some much needed relief and improvement.

Take care both.

Thank you darling. I am feeling very sorry for myself today due to pain and general feeling of being unwell. It is very cold and dul here in the Midlands and i don't think that helps me either. I have now got my pjs on and when hubby comes back from a funeral i think i will be going off to bed as its the only place i can get comfy today.xxxxxx

I have been in pjs all day.

I went to docs on Tuesday and I have picked up,a water infection which she thinks has spread to my kidneys giving me the most awful backache.Havent slept properly all week so feeling a bit grumpy.

Hubby has gone out today to clean the caravan and pack it away for winter so left to my own devices. He has left me plenty of food and drinks so it has been ok.I could quite easily cause an argument in an empty room today so just as well he's out he doesn't deserve that bless him.

Get yourself off to bed and have a rest and hopefully you will feel better tomorrow. Its really cold and dull here today too,in Mid Wales, and you're right it doesn't help does it?

Take care

No darling the weather doesn't help.I not only hurt in my hands, the fibro is giving me a good kicking as well and my neck feels like a tin of ball bearings rattling around me. When hubby gets back fro the funeral i will go upstairs to lay on my bed.xxxxx

It is OK to have an occasional pity party in my book. Sometimes you just need to do what feels good. I am all about pjs and a little time bonding with my pillow when I have a spell of pain. Cuddle in and enjoy.

I was on that combination for awhile and it did help the inflammation. I had energy and good movement. Hope it does the same for you. Seems like a bit of a rollercoaster getting a combo that works. Best wishes for days where you feel like yourself. !

Sylvi, hope you get some relief from upping the MTX. As you say it's very cold today, and so hard to cope with when in pain. Can I ask how long you've been on MTX. ? I've been on it for long time now and was wondering if there's a time limit to taking it. I've had long session with rheumy nurse today and will put post on later about that. Anyway, get them PJ's on and get comfy xxxx
