Oh good luck Gail. I remember you asking about claiming PIP a long while ago. I'm prob too late but tell it like it is even if you prefer not to admit it, they need to know otherwise how are they to understand.... no points for being brave! Let us know how you think it went & I hope you have an assessor who understands RD. x

I hope yours goes ok & yes do please let us know how it went, it can be helpful for those thinking of applying or waiting for their assessment. I posted about mine healthunlocked.com/nras/pos...
Good luck, again!
Im a honest 1 and i can say that whatever the outcome it was done as best as i could think .
The woman was nice(easy to talk to) and dident hold or pass no judgement .
Aslo i took my nhs paperwork with me (think that might have helped )
She said to me that they only have down that i have a hiatus hernia and depression? Not the case i have a faulty stomach valve / hernia/internal webbing/ gerd and reflux/ peptic ulser desiese / d1 erosions and depression as a result of ill care (thanks to all them you look fine ppl) so with that being said and produced it seemed to change her current mood instantly .
Hi every one ... Just back now... Waited 2.5hrs passed appointment time as they were short staffed!! Which did not help at all.... was in real pain by the time I went in so maybe in a strange way may of helped..... The lady was really nice and very apologetic..was only in there 30mins ... asked a few questions about dressing eating and walking .... did a few simple physical tests although I declined doing some of them as it would of been to painful... Just a waiting game now... I feel exhausted now. Thanks for all your kind words and tips .. good luck to all of you who have assessments coming up .. I will keep you posted about outcome
I hearted today that someone with RA, was told by the idiot asser that if you keep taking your medication the RA would soon be cured, as it's been said that same simple thing about Dementia lol. I hope the next brown envelope has good news for you, I got my fingers crossed lol, well as far as I can.
