Rheumy consultation

I got a phone call on Monday asking if I could go down to see the rheumy consultant so I was down yesterday and she's going to the next stage so hopefully I'll get accepted for Biologics she said because I've failed 3 dmards so should be no problem , I hope not because this RA is doing my head in

Omg,that is just like me,I was diagnosed July last year, saw rhyme nurse Monday and was told all the different meds are not working and the next course is biologicals, gotta have a whole heap of blood tests and xrays,and then she will apply for funding for biologicals,seems were gone go through the same thing around the same time,gota say I'm pretty scared but I will do anything to help with this disease,keep me updated how it goes for you x

Popsmith1874 and Silverwolf this is me too, last Friday. Ive had all my tests done: Das score a month apart, chest xray to check no TB, loads of blood tests done. So ive got the go ahead and I'm now waiting for HAH to deliver my Humira. like you I am very scared, but the MTX, Sulfa. Hydroxy now not working so on to the next level of treatment. so the three of us in the same boat.
