NRAS Group Meetings—Week Commencing 14th March 2016
Three Counties NRAS Group
This group meets at St. Francis Church Hall, 121 Upper Chobham Road, Frimley, Surrey, GU15 1EE bi-monthly on a Tuesday from 7:00pm-9:00pm, unless otherwise stated below. Meetings are open to anyone living with RA, JIA and inflammatory arthritis.
15th March – ‘Caring for oral hygiene whilst living with an inflammatory condition’ - We welcome back Hygienist, Zoe Bailey, who previously gave an engaging insight particularly with mouth ulcers and dry mouth.
St Helens NRAS Group
The group meets every other month in Room 8 at St Helens Town Hall, Victoria Square, St Helens, WA10 1HP from 6.30pm to 8pm (unless otherwise stated below). There is a free car park at the back of the Town Hall (take first right off Birchley St) and disabled access via a lift to the left of the front steps.
Wednesday 16th March 6:30pm - 'Understanding Blood Tests' by Angela Cox, Rheumatology Clinical Nurse Specialist
Yeovil NRAS Group
The Yeovil NRAS group meetings are held at: The Studio Ninesprings Clinic, 70 Hendford, Yeovil, Somerset BA20 1UR. Parking available at rear, side and front of the building. In the event of these being full you can use the parking spaces in the road normally reserved for Hendford Lodge Medical Centre. Tina and Elaine co-ordinate this group and meet on the third Wednesday of every other month from 7:30pm unless otherwise stated.
16th March - Alison Hill – The Elephant in the Room, a talk about Anaemia in Chronic Disease
Wrexham and District NRAS Group
2016 meetings will be held on the third Wednesday of every month at Tesco Wrexham, Crescent Road, Wrexham, LL13 8HF from 7:00-8:30pm unless otherwise stated below. (Please make your way to the customer service desk where someone will be on hand to direct you to the room).
16th March - A member of the Physiotherapy department will talk to the group
North Durham NRAS Group
The group meets 4 times a year at All Saints Catholic Church, Kitswell Road, Lanchester, DH7 0JH on a Thursday from 7:00pm-9:00pm unless otherwise stated. There will also be a raffle and refreshments at the meetings.

Plymouth NRAS Group
Phil and Rika co-ordinate this group and call themselves PADRAGS (Plymouth & District Rheumatoid Arthritis Group Support). The group meet monthly on a Thursday in the Health Education Room at Mount Gould Hospital, Plymouth PL4 7QD from 12-2pm, please see below for meeting dates or visit the PADRAGS website for more information on the group.

Blackpool NRAS Group
Blackpool and District NRAS Group (BADRAG) meet in the cafeteria at Clifton Hospital, Pershore Road, Lytham St. Annes, FY8 1PB from 7:00pm – 8:30pm on the third Thursday of alternate months, January through to November.
17th March - Guest speaker: Dr Jeffries, Consultant Rheumatologist will present - 'Pain Management'
Greater Glasgow & Clyde NRAS Group
This group meets in the Tesco Rollox Community Room at Tesco St Rollox Extra, Cobden Rd, Glasgow G21 1YL from 7:00pm—8:30pm. Tea, coffee and biscuits available.
Thursday 17th March - Gordon Hendry a Lecturer in Musculoskeletal Rehabilitation at Glasgow Caledonian University will speak to the group about the research being done at the University and ways that the group can help the research.
You, your family, friends and healthcare professionals are all very welcome to attend and you don’t have to be a member of NRAS to attend a group meeting!
