Thanks to everyone who replied to my first post its good to hear not everyone has side effect from taking Mtx, I didn't relalise how long some of you have been taking it for, it seems like many years.

After my second week of injections I find myself full of cold, so i guess its working anyway at the moment, its surprising how a peg on you nose can help a keyboard stay dry.

I Think its best to avoid touching door handles from now on and keeping in touch on the phone more rather than dropping in on friends.

I will inquire about increasing my Folic acid to counter act my sickness at my next appointment

and purchase vitamin c tablets.

I always feel a bit "fluey" the day after taking Mtx even tho I've had the flu jab and pneumonia jab so probs just side effects.
