Stop the bus i want to get off...............

Its one of those days when i wish i could stop the bus and get off. I hurt in my neck and shoulders and the base of my spine is not very clever either. My eyes look a mess as well and the optician was surprised by the state of them. I have a cold sore on my forehead as well. The optician is going to have another look at my eyes next week as i am struggling to see out of my left eye. I am so damn tired as well, been up since 3.30am which doesn't help.xxxxx

I understand that. Dang bus won't let me off either. I have not slept well in weeks. Rheumy took me off medrol to see if the MTX is working. Been on 15 mg injections .. Started it in August. My shoulders and neck burn from pain all day. At least it has left my hips and other places lately He keeps telling me to give it time to work. So tired of hearing that. It's been almost 6 months on it .

Sorry for your pain . I hope you start feeling better quickly!

Yip been on the bus for these past 10 days. After a successful couple of mths on Rituximab things are going into reverse! Neck, shoulders and knees causing great pain and discomfort. As for sleep? Forget about it!

Hope you get some relief soon x

Hi sylvia sorry to hear you are in loads of pain. I know the feeling well. I was at the consultant on Thursday , my hip were killing and my ankles etc. By the time she had examined me i was so cold which didnt help. She wants me to have Hydoxi. so have got to have my eyes tested and she wants the results of it to see if they will stand them. I felt a lot worse after my visit .

So i hope you recover fast and have some relief from all the pain.

Sending you hugs and best regards. XXX

Hi Sylvi,

I think you may have inadvertently got off the bus and the bloody thing has run you down! :(

Sounds like you need a few 'home spa days'. I thoroughly recommend getting out any smelly josh sticks, warm oil baths, a good book, duvet on the sofa and a good film, snuggles with loved one, sleep, a little more sleep, mulled wine (non-alcoholic if need be), snoozing, mindful colouring,.

I hope things get lighter soon

All the best

Ali

Hi Sylvi,

Sorry you're not feeling too good today. I'm not feeling very good either,I have a very swollen right hand ,so bad that I can't see my knuckle.

I have been ever so tired lately,it could be because I have gone back to work for two days a week.

I think it's this weather that makes us feel so rubbish. I'm sure if we were lying on a Barbados beach in the sun with a nice Pina Colada ,we would feel a lot better?

Take care

Aw , tomorrow will be a better day honey x

Hi Sylvi- the fact that you are still here on the forum sharing this is a good sign... The nights are the worst for me too and probably for a lot of people. Hope you can find something interesting to do that might help get your mind away from the pain and problems. You have done it before and sure you can do it again. Cheers, Doreen

I'm up and down at the moment, so can empathise with people who are down, but feel OK enough (5 days ago steroid jab) to cheer you on from the sidelines.

Just back from a little drive down the coast to a farm shop and I noticed that its slightly snowing and that some of the pavements are icy. So the door is closed and I think I've organised everything so that my partner only has to go out to get a newspaper tomorrow - if he wants. I think its hibernation time and I hope the warmth and cosiness helps you all.XX

I often feel like getting off the bus. I am getting tired of feeling tired all the time. My hands and wrists ache, during the week I couldn't bend my right thumb. Fed up of my legs failing to let me sleep, ankles hurt. Still waiting for the MTX to kick in. Rheummy in 2 weeks. But I suppose that I ought to stay on the bus, otherwise it goes nowhere! (I am a bus driver.)

Let's hope the bus takes you somewhere wonderful after all this, maybe somewhere you can twirl around in your pink dress showing off your new slimline figure!
