Back from the hospital.......

Good afternoon everyone well i am back and stitches are out and i have been weighed and i now weigh 18st 3lbs. When i went into hospital i was just under 19st so i have lost over 10lbs since the op. When i first went to the clinic i weighed 20st. So success so far onwards and upwards everyone. Here is my third dress my wedding dress which is a size 16. Hugs to all.xxxxx

That's terrific, bet you feel so pleased. Love the wedding dress.

Hope you are keeping a daily diary with all about your op etc in it. It will be great to have it to look back on it all and even though you think you'll remember exactly what happened you will probably forget bits.

Yay! That must have been a joy to hear. Carry on in a similar vein & we'll have a whole new Sylvi sooner than we expected. So pleased for you.

Now your stitches are out & healing well I can recommend Bio Oil to help your scar. My h's Surgeon used the same scar to refix his sternum that he used for his heart op & passed comment that this was only because of how well it had healed. Prior to the op he was told he wouldn't be able to do that & would be left with two vertical scars. x

I used regen for my mastectomy scar, does the same thing but quite a bit cheaper. I bought it from Asda. Well done Sylvi. xx

You've done really well! My mother used to always undermine any weight loss I achieved by going on about my face and how a thin face didnt become me! I think I probably feel ambivalent because of that but you will feel so much better for being lighter.

I was at the physio for the last time before my knee op. She said I should choose some music to help me keep going afterwards. Would that help you at all? She said motivational music, so I've put in Van Morrison Astral Weeks and the theme to Kenny Macaskell's cycle ride down the Cullin on Skye - a track called Blackbird.

No i have had weight loss surgery a week last Saturday in the afternoon,i have had it on the nhs through the obesity clinic in Coventry. I am had it for health reasons only though.xxxx

That's wonderful, well done. I'm trying to lose weight by going low carb, under the watchful eye of diabetic dietitians, got my sugar down to 47 and 50 over a 3 month period and reduced meds from two to one per day, but unfortunately I'm not losing the weight. Keep up the good work.
