I went to doctors with painful left leg when I have been in bed I have difficulty in weight bearing on it for a couple of min it is so painful the doctor said I have artherutous in my knee and there is a build up of fluid in the back of leg which is causing pain has anyone else heard of this

I have had RA for 35 years and years ago I had fluid removed from my knees several times. I had fluid behind my knee but I don't remember the doctor ever calling it by that name. since then I've had both knees replaced and don't have problems with them anymore I hope you get better soon
