I have my first PIP consultation tomorrow morning in Edinburgh I phoned to say I might not make it due to my chest infection only to be told I have to put it in writing why I could not attend and if I did not I would be put to the bottom of the pile, I told her this was shocking and her phone manner was just as bad and does her training teach her this.matt

Hi Matt, how disgusting to be treated this way, if you do manage to make the appointment I hope you blast them again. Just as matter of interest is this your first application or are you being transferred from dla to pip ? Take care, lynda x

Hi lynda my 1st application was accepted by Doctors & Consultants reports with DLA they told me I was in a support group and would be exempt for three years. Then 18 months down the line here we are, I just hope the consultant doesn't have a attitude a challenge I like.matt

I understand your anger, there can be reasons for this attitude

Sad to say I would just take it and get the appointment done ASAP, put it down to the person on the other end been just very jaded. You most probably feel, concerned with what to expect
